Need a setter this year - 2008
Due to family issues, I have lost the setter that was part of my 2008 recruiting class. I am in need of athletes who want to be in a Christian environment and have the opportunity to play volleyball and develop as both a player and a person.
CCU is in transition and we will be joining the NAIA and the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. This is a great opportunity for a good player to start right away and then lead the team for the next three years. I have a very good senior setter and I had planned to play a 6-2 this year. She will have no problem playing the 5-1 if we have to as she is a good blocker also. But, I want to build for the future too! The rest of my recruiting class of 2008 includes two outstanding outside hitters, a middle and our back row play is already rock solid. As a setter, you would be coming into a great situation.
For 2009, I plan to bring in two middles and, if I don't get one for 2008, a setter that can help us become nationally competitive in the NAIA for years to come.
I know this is late for 2008, but classes don't start until 8/25 and our first match is 9/6, so you have time!
