The Peru State College Lady Bobcats are still recruiting for the 2008-9 School Year. The Bobcats, led by former Nebraska star and professional women's player Maurtice Ivy, are in need of a post player and a point guard that are dedicated to a fast paced transition game and can give solid defensive performances. Our school is well known for its excellence in Education, Business, Criminal Justice, Psychology and pre-professional programs. Our school website is www.peru.edu . We are located about an hour from Omaha, Nebraska, and hour from Lincoln, NE, and two hours from Kansas City.
We've got great players returning, and just need a couple more hoopers who have what it takes to round out the team. We do have some scholarship money available, and juco transfers are welcome. We are an open enrollment school, and redshirting can be considered if necessary. We have an exceptional Academic Resource Center and free tutoring for all students.
