Illinois is now a no go.  We couldn't get enough girls together to play so its not happening.  We just finished our last tourny for the summer.

I have been fully released.

I don't know whether injuries or surgeries is something college coaches expect to be told, but I will not hide mine because it is allowing me to become better at my game.  I am truly excited because bright and early this morning my doctor released me from his observation and told me that I have recovered incredibly well and that he is Proud of Me!!
Two months and one day ago I underwent an operation on my left knee.  They really just cleaned out an unbelievable (quoted from surgeon) amount of "gunk" in my knee.  This gunk alone was keeping me from playing a pain free game but before my highschool's first game my coach hit me with a line drive and ripped the "gunk" in half making it all the more painful.  I was able to play all but about 8 games in the season but did so only when my knee decided not to flare up.  Unfortunately I was not able to finish the season and help my team in playoffs.  I had to make the decision of having the surgery at the end of the year inorder to be able to play a decent amount of travel ball in the summer.  Sitting and watching my team run out of pitching and not be able to go as far as we were capable was hard but I had to take the words from family and friends that by that point I wasn't able to pitch without crying and so I wasn't much help anyway.  But still 2 weeks after surgery I was ofcourse drugged and thinking that I could probably pitch if I needed to.  Well one missed move and that idea was gone realy quick.
But basically coaches and anybody my message is that my surgery has given me a practically brand new knee without pain.  Though I am having to work extra hard to get back to the level that I am use to and it is very frustrating I am extremly excited to be released completly.  (Oh, and completly means that I have been playing for about 3 or 4 weeks but I am now not worried that I am going to kill my knee)
I'm Done Now.
