I played left field, first, and pitched four innings.
I faced 15 batters.
10 strikeouts.
1 single to outfield and 1 infield single.
1 reached on error.
1 fly out and 1 ground out.
43 pitches
NO WALKS!
But most importantly we won 7-4!

I also went 0-1 at the plate with a strikeout swinging and a walk.
I only got two at bats because since it was game 1 we dicided to bat everyone, which i understand although it can also be frusterating at times.

The game was long, almost 3 hours for 7 innings, the other team walked 9 of our batters. I recorded 1 putout at first and no balls came my way in left field today. Honestly, that may have been a good thing because even with my IronMan sunglasses, the sunset was horrendous at this field. It was shining right at third base and left field.

I am playing in two leagues in order to get the most games in during this fall. I will be playing for my summer team on the west side of cleveland, and a local league in South Euclid, (which is part of my school district). This game was the first for the green team in the South Euclid Fall Ball League, which is run by Andy's 9ers Baseball.

Andy Cheyfitz was a baseball player for my high school, Brush, from 1989-1992. Tradgically, he was killed by a drunk driver during his freshman year in college. Any's number was always 9. It has been retired at Brush, and is memorialized by the program Andy's 9ers. The Program is run by the Brush Assisstant Varsity Coach who was Andy's Varsity coach during his years at Brush.
