This Friday night we go against Russellville. We have never played them before, but I feel confident we can win.
We will have some of our offense back - Josh is looking good and Gordan is up to speed.
This week, we are all working hard.
The Rock is getting closer and closer.
It's our turn!

Today, we get ready to play the winner of Springdale vs. Russellville. Everybody is healed up and rested from Friday night's loss and we are ready to get with it.
We had two with concussions - but both will practice today. Josh McKinney is back and Tre Tyler is too. This will help our offense,
I hope we play Springdale - we know what they have and don't have. Russellville will be a challenge, but we can beat them.
It will feel weird this Friday night not having a game...but it will give us more time. Plus I am going hunting!

We lost to Bentonville last night - 0-17. Our first loss.
We now share the Conference title with them. I hate that.
Defense spent the majority of the game on the field - our offense just couldn't get it going. The second half we spent 18 of the 24 minutes on the field. I was so tired.
Today, I visited Henderson State University and Ouachita Baptist. It was great. They are rivals and the stands were full.
I liked both. I spent a long time visiting with Henderson coaches and toured both campuses.
I am glad we got a bye for the playoffs - gives us time to rest, heal and prepare to win. It's not over...it is just beginning. Go Wildcats.

We've waited for this game all season.
It's gonna be tough.
We will have Gordan Welch back but holding out Josh McKinney for the playoffs.
Defense will have to work hard and do what we've been doing all season.
No matter how it turns out - we are conference champs! We really don't want to share this title, but Champs are Champs.
Tonight after the game, I leave to drive to Clarksville to spend the night and head out in the morning to Henderson State for a recruitment visit.
I feel good. No pressure, just win.

All I can say is it was fun and felt good to beat Fayetteville.
The D-line had a great game - the offense had a great game and I was proud for our quarterback Ryan Luther and Jordan Nicholson and Houston Pruitt because they all did a great job getting the points on the board.
Now we get ready for Bentonville. It's our time!

Ready for tomorrow night. Out of all the games this season, this is the one we have waited for...to beat the Purple Dogs.
My goal is to pressure Brandon Allen as many times as possible - and sack him as many times as possible. Pierce will wear him out and I hope to be right there with him.
If we play hard and do everything right, we will win tomorrow night.
The bar has been raised for Har-Ber Defense. Each week it gets tougher and tougher, but if we keep playing hard and do our jobs, we will continue to be the best in the state.

| Senior Night is Friday Night |

Har-Ber Senior Night is this Friday night when we beat the Fayetteville Purple Dogs. I love playing them. Defense should wear out their quarterback. We will have to be quick and hit hard.
We are now #1 in all the polls including Hooten's. Shocking since Hooten hates to pick us number one.
It is gonna be tough these next few games, because as we have improved so have other teams.
It is exciting to know that we have a chance at winning state.
For the next two weeks, we will take it game by game not looking ahead to the playoffs. Game by game.

| Har-Ber Beats Ft. Smith Southside in Overtime - 16-13 |

It was a tough fight Friday night, but we beat Southside at home in overtime. Our second win in overtime of the season.
This makes Har-Ber 8-0 in the 7A West and number one in the state. We are looking forward to beating Fayetteville this Friday night.
It will be senior night my last game at home.
Visited Evangel this weekend. Really like it. Hope to hear something from Henderson this week and Adams State College in Colorado.
We will work hard this week - each game gets tougher and tougher.

This Friday night we show a new look on Defense. Got a few tricks ready to show Ft. Smith Southside.
They have been watching us close so they know what we are about, but this Friday, we have mixed some things up and will have a new look.
Can't wait.

9 weeks grades are in. Did okay.
All A's, B's and C's - Algebra III the big hurt - C - I hate Algebra.
Everything else is good. 1/2 way to the semester!
Bad news - our running back Gordan Welch broke his hand in practice yesterday. It's gonna be tough without him. Someone else will have to step in and make the difference.
Defense will keep doing their job. That doesn't change.
