| Hi, Steve Jones here. Got to play 1st and 3rd base during Fall scheduled baseball games at Robert Morris University. Really love playing baseball. Hate to see the season end. Have been taking hitting practice at batting cages, have been continuing my workouts and recruited some of my teammates to do the same. Hope it pays off in spring! |

Hi, Steve Jones here. This summer went by fast. Had fun in the Roselle summer league, but now it's time for serious college ball. I'll be moving to Springfield on Friday the 28th and starting practice Monday the 31st. I can't wait to start! |

| Got my course schedule this weekend. Posed for a picture for RMU signing LOI for baseball. Mom and Dad in one picture too. Toured the campus. Signed Financial papers. Checked out the home game field. Toured the neighborhoods of Springfield. Mom got to meet the coach and athletic director. Mom said everyone is so welcoming. |

| Hi, Steve Jones here. I'm enrolling in Robert Morris University in Springfield this weekend, in Computer Networking. I have been accepted into the Honors Program. I will be receiving an Academic Scholarship and a MAP grant (my mom is happy). But the best part is that I'm on the baseball team. Go Eagles! I'm playing on a summer Palamino team here to keep up skills and play more games. Had one game, so far, where I played 3B and 1B. At first base, I helped in getting a guy out in a rundown and another I picked off. I was walked all 4 at bats, where my walk brought one in and then I scored on another walk. |

Thank you to all the coaches who viewed my profile on this website and/or contacted me through beRecruited.com: Robert Morris- Springfield Head Coach Mark Rabideau and Assistant Coach Tom Roth where I am committed to play baseball. Also all the baseball and football coaches from the following schools: Lawrence University, Wittenberg University, University of Missouri - Rolla, Creighton University, Northern Illinois University, Ohio Wesleyan University, Upper Iowa University, Illinois Valley Community College, Grace College, Lyon College, Waldorf College, Rochester College, Jamestown College, Benedictine College, Bemidji State University, Minot State University, University of St. Thomas. Sorry, if I missed a few. This is a great site to view and recruit serious athletes without the expense of running all around the country. Thanks. Steven Jones. |

| Thank you everyone at beRecruited.com. Thank you for this website. This site is responsible for getting me noticed by a larger coach community, than would have been possible otherwise. Yesterday I signed LOI to play baseball at Robert Morris University in Springfield. I doubt this would have happened without your help. My HS, St. Patrick's also awarded senior athletes at a banquet yesterday. I missed the banquet but it was worth it to be able to play college baseball. Mom was at the HS banquet for me and told me I received IHSA Scholar Athlete award there. Plus Robert Morris will be awarding me an $8000 Academic Scholarship. What a great day. Plan on signing up for 2 summer leagues to keep my skills up. As I have since age 10, I will continue my weight training and conditioning throughout the year. I'm working on getting chiseled and possibly competing in a body building contest after I turn 18. Going to major in Computer Science. Advice to other athletes: Grades are important. So is getting the word out that you want to play your sport. Again thank you so much. |

| That's about it. Wrapping up the regular season of baseball. Starting play off game will be against Maine East next Thursday 5/28. I'll be graduating 5/26/09 and have been asked to play on two summer baseball teams. Probably will be on both to keep my skills up. Decided not to play college football and only concentrate on college baseball. Thank you, all you college football coaches for the emails, phone calls, and letters. |
