The Sherman High School Fall League had a double header last night. I pitched both games. The first game I pitched a perfect game striking out 10 batters. The Lady Cats shut them out 4-0. The second game I pitched I struck out 12 batters with a era of 0.00 however they were able to score 3 runs on some defensive errors. Our bats fell asleep in the second game.
Totals for the night. 22 K's 2 BB's Era 0.00. |

My team placed 5th in our first fall gold outing this weekend. We went 3-1 in our pools and was seeded in the #4 position out of 20 teams. We won our first bracket 4-1. Our second game was a thriller right to the end but we left runners on and took a 2-1 loss. Over all BB went 4-2. I had a school conflict so could not attend all games but I had a great tournament. I pitched 6 innings, allowed one hit, struck out 4 with a era of 1.0. I also drove in the game winning run in a 0-0 game with timed expired. |

The Fort Worth Batbusters prides itself on being one of the premier fast pitch softball organizations in the Southwest. During its 15 year history, Batbusters has enjoyed success at the highest levels of fast pitch softball and has developed thousands of girls into great softball players and fine young ladies by stressing hard work, fundamentals, discipline, teamwork, respect and sportsmanship. I couldn't be happier with my decision to play with the Edwards Gold team. I am surrounded by some of the best coaches, players and parents who are dedicated to softball! |

I start my senior year this coming Monday and I can't wait! I can't believe how fast it went by! I got my school schedule and was pleased to see we have a new softball coach this year! This is the 3rd softball coach I have had in my high school career. We also got a new Athletic Director at our school so hopefully all these changes will be for the better of our program. I have also been making changes myself. I got a new pitching coach in March and just started with a new hitting coach on Monday. I also will be making a big annoucement soon so stay tuned! I am ready to work real hard this last year so I will be ready for college ball! |
