| well currently our team is on a roll right now we are 11-2 and are leading our conference, no one can beat us, everyone on the team is batting and playing great defense. Personally i have started all of our games in one of the middle infielder positions, mostly shortstop, and so far this year i am batting over .500 so our team has been playing great so far, but what i really want is our team to go far into the playoffs, and bring the city championship to Lincoln Park. We will see how things turn out?? |

| Today we played Kenwood in the Hyde Park neighborhood of chicago's south side. I Started the game at shortshop and played it throughout the whole game.I was also batting 2nd in the order and my first at-bat i hit a blooping single to center. Then on the first pitch when i was on base a got a very good jump and stole second base. My next at-bat in the game i watched the first pitch, and the umpire called STRIKE! The next pitch i went hakking and hit a line drive shot to right field.And my third at-bat i had, i began haking at the pitcher's pitches right away, i fouled off three pitches, then i heard the opposing team's coach whisper something to the pitcher, then i knew something was coming. Then came the curve and i strukout. At my final at-bat i fouled off a couple pitches, then i grounded out to the pitcher. Throughout most of the game in the infield i barely got any action, except in the final inning the first pitch was hit to my right side, and i made a backhanded dive, and made a perfect throw to first base. When we finished off kenwood that inning with 2 more easy outs. The whole team shook hands with the opposing team, and we all went to the pitchers mound and chanted, We Are LP, LP Lions baseball! I had felt really good to win the opening day game 4-2! |
