My name is Patrick Gauthier. i am 17 years old and i have been playing rep baseball since the Pee Wee Division. In the past two years my local rep team for my age group has folded due to an insuficent number of players. Although i have been only been able to play house leauge ball because of this, my drive and determination for the game is still very alive. I have a good work ethic and always willing to learn about the game. This season as a 17 year old I am playing in the senior division(19 and up)Where there are alot of good players that have played Rep ball for many years some who have even went on to play NCAA and try out for the blue jays.
My current season stats on a team that is 0-4-1 and only has 33 runs for and 65 RA so far this season, I still have managed to have decent numbers at the plate.
GP: AB:14 H:4 RBI:6 SO:4 BB:2 Single:2 Double:1 Triple:1 I usually play the middle infield but due to a lack of pitchers I have been forced to pitch every game this year making my time at my preferred positions limited. I can be utulise anywhere on the field.
Although this blog may not blow your minds but I love the game and I am always striving to be the best and to help out my team mates in any situation.
Hopefully there is a coach/scout somewhere out there that can seen my determination and would be willing to give me a chance to learn and to play baseball,wich will always be a passion of mine
Basically, this year I got screwed over as for my age group "Midget" are not having a rep team(all-star)
So I am 17 playing in the senior houseleague against 20 and up. The senior league teams have alotof players that have played in the OBA's or even tried out for the Toronto Blue Jays so I am still getting somewhat of a good enough competition. In our league too we play against the minor midget rep team.
