Mason Starts; Still Stafford Struggles

Mason's first pass was dropped. His second was batted down at the line.

But when the junior hit Darrian Johnson in stride coming across the middle late in the first quarter, the quarterback started to settle in.

Johnson broke into the Woodbridge secondary for a 44-yard gain--Stafford's first first down of the game.

As on several promising drives, though, the Indians stalled.
