The Mac N Seitz 15/u Indians finished 5-2 this weekend at the Oklahoma State 16/U Showcase this past weekend. 35 Teams participated in the tournament.
We played well in the pool play games, but lost two close games and finished 2-2. 16 teams advaced to bracket play. We advanced to the consolation bracket. Our team won two games to advance to the Championship game in our bracket, and faced Team Action, who had beat us earlier in the tournament. We defeated Team Action in the Championship game in a hard fought game.
I had a very good weekend at the plate with 9 hits which included 2 doubles. I was the winning pitcher in the semi final game, pitching 5 innings in relief to get the win.
Our team travels to the Kansas State University Showcase this weekend.
