Monday night we swept Fairfield with a 3-0 and 4-3 score.. The second game came down to the 6th and 7th inning hitting wise for us.. Starting the 6th inning my sister was up and she got a single, then Mackenzie laid down a bunt to move her to second. Then I got up and hit a single up the middle to score my sister for the tying run.. it was awsome.. the next inning we had a runner on 1st and 3rd with two outs. A ground ball was hit to our second baseman, she tagged the girl going to 2nd and then threw it to first for a double play.. Then we had to bat to get one more run for the win.. Our number nine hitter was up to bat, she got a single. Then our number one batter bunted the ball got out at first but there was no one at 3rd for them so she went third and the first baseman over threw it, and the number nine runner went home.. So far were 6-0 in conference. However last night we got swept by number 5 ranked 4A school Burlington High School. We put up a good fight, but we lost both games 3-1.
