I hope everyone elses fall ball is going well.  My team, Cincy Doom U16 (a first year 16U team), began our fall schedule at the Ball State University College Showcase in Muncie, Indiana.  While we played four games, three of which were against 18U teams, we finished 2-2, with our losses coming within only of a couple runs, we played descent for our first tournament at this level.  I finished 4-7 hitting, but I need to adjust quickly to the speed of the game at this age group, it's a lot different than the 14U world. 

Our second tournament was at Northern Kentucky University, in a round robin format.  We lost our first game 2-0, and our second 4-3 in an international tie breaker.  We quickly bounced back winning 8-0 and 10-1.  Our bats were still asleep early, stranding several runners in scoring position, but by the afternoon they woke up.  I finished hitting only 4-12, but my outs were my better contact with the ball (go figure).

Our final tournament at is at Miami Valley Vipers Fall Shoot Out in Beavercreek, Ohio with some very good teams.  Wish us luck!!!
