ok...so i got this letter in the mail & ive been selected to participate in the Elite Sports 10th Annual "King Kamehameha Basketball Classic" in June of 09 in Honolulu, Hawaii!! how exciting is that!!!! and my team is supposed to be coached by John Brown, the Head Women's Coach at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania!!!! but theres a problem....it costs like $3000 to go!!! plus a $300 deposit on October
4th!!! and i wanna go sooo bad!!!! HELP!!!!
**I NEED MONEY!! FUNDRAISER IDEAS!!! DONATIONS!!! HELP?!?!**

| yeah, i got that too for football. from what i've heard is that it's a scam. they look up all-state/all-conference rosters and then mail u invites and charge you an arm and a leg for nothing. i heard it's disorganized, no trainers, and worst of all it's run by community college coaches. what kind of visibility is that gaining you? My coach is the dude form hudson valley CC. This is just what i've heard. just think twice before you spend all that money. there's easier, less expensive ways to get recruited. |

| hey, jus joined i got an invite for one in orlando i went and got couple of offers from d1 schools but that was in florida idk about honolulu. might want to check it out more. |

| its not a scam. i went for softball. and all the baseball players and softball players are in the same hotel. and you stay in a very nice hotel. and its very organized. i enjoyed it. :) |
