Labor Day Weekend was a fun 3 days for me where I played in the Bellingham Amateur! It was probably my best tournament where my driver was a reliable club in all 3 days. My putting on the other hand could have been greatly improved. I played at a course whose rating was 71.5 and slope 127 and played 6600 yards. I shot 76-76-76 and I was in the 1st of 3 divisions and placed 16th out of 24 players. I placed so high in my division because I was competing against scratch and university golfers. Unfortunately I was unable to make a top ten in this event because of my score. I will take this as a sentiment to improve my game with the thought of thinking more about course management and hopefully sinking more putts.
As for September I will pay a visit to my golf coach and sort out a few querks and upgrade some of my clubs. I will also play in 2-3 more tournaments this month. I hope to play 2 in the states and 1 locally.
