This summer I ran summer track for Sudden Impact and it was a pretty good experience.  I got to travel to places like North Carolina, Connecticut, and Michigan for track meets.  This was my first chance to race against people from other states and see how I stand.  The last meet of the season was AAU Junior Olympics and this is how I did:

3000 meter run

16th place 7316 Awich, Phillip 91 Somerset, NJ 9:39.41
