Last weekend I played in my annual Junior Club Championship at my home course. There were 3 flights championship, second and third; I was in the championship flight. I shot 74-77 and was tied at the end of the 2 rounds with another competitor. I was forced to play a sudden death playoff. The first 3 holes were halved with birdies while the next 3 were halved with pars. Except for the last hole where I won outright and won with a par while my opponent made a bogey. I made to make a clutch 5 footer downhill for birdie on the 1st hole to halve. I chipped in on the 3rd to halve a birdie. And, my 2-putt win on the last clinched my victory. There was approximately 30 players in the championship flight. I am so happy to have won the Junior Club Championship because I was starting to feel my game come around just at the right time.
