It's been a great summer already. Earlier in June I attended the Chicago Fire Academy Open Try-outs, and was then asked to attend a closed try out for the Fire Academy. In the end, I wasn't accepted to the Fire Academy.
I also tried out and was accepted on the Eclipse Select S.C. I don't know which team I'll be playing for yet.
I was invited to attend the Illinois O.D.P. State Combine on June 30th. I attended the combine and after a long day, was acepted as one of two goalkeepers for the 2008 Illinois O.D.P. team! I'll be playing in the Regional Tournament on July 18, 19, 20 in Rockford.
