This weekend I am playing in a championship tournament for 3 days! This event is open to amateurs and professional golfers with a field limit of 130. This is a bit of a prestigious tournament because the majority of the winners of this event have gone on to play on the Canadian Tour or other professional tours. I was lucky to get in this tournament because even though this is a local tournament in my area it does have a handicap limit factor. I was able to secure a spot with my cap. This is a 3 day tournament with a compliment practice round included. This is going to be my first 3 day tournament in a little over a month. So, I am very excited to play in this tournament because I am always looking to play in as many tournaments as possible to improve in competition. I hope I can sustain consistency and play well throughout the 3 days.
