It's Getting A Little Old....But Obviously People Are Confused...

Sometimes I don't know whether to use it as motivation, or to just get aggraveted with myself. I know this doesn't just happen to me so there will be a lot of athletes who read this and relate to what I'm saying. No matter what gym I'm playing pick up ball in, no matter what league I'm playing in around town, no matter what tournaments I play in...the question always comes up. Either...where do you play at? Or if they know you they ask...how come you're not playing college ball somewhere? But if they only knew..haha.

Last week it kind of put me over the edge. So Im back home in Lorain, OH, and I'm playing in the biggest league in Cleveland. The Greater Cleveland Basketball Association League, about 58 teams deep.

So we had a double header last week, and there was about 5 mins remaining in the 1st half and I had 29 points. I was walking to the bench for a quick time out and I walked past players on the opposing team and they asked me where I attended school this past season. For those who have read my previous blog, they understand..this is kind of a hard question to answer within 10 secs, let alone I was upset because we were down by 7 anyway, good team. But anyways, as the game continued, I kept doing my thing and people in the crowd began asking questions to because they remembered me from the year before and before I left I said I would be attending Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. So they asked...how did you do this past year!!! And, I have no answers for them.

This is the aggravating part that I know a lot of you can relate with me on. If I'm so good in thousands of peoples eyes, why can't I fit in at some program somewhere in America? I'm a good student, and I know I can bring a lot to any team where I can fit in at.

Eventually it gets so old...do you use it as motivation or are you aggravated??

I know ya'll feel my pain everyone....
