Well my high school playing days are over and I will really miss them. Now it is off to the next level. Basketball has be my passion but being 6'2 colleges don't really look at you & if they do they don't take you serious. I have worked my whole life to play college basketball then in my junior year someone told me "Put down the big orange ball and pick up the small white ball that is where you will succeed" I guess he was right. Even though I could shoot the lights out & was almost 70% from the 3 point line and handle the ball well and was called a beast on the boards noone really look at me serious. Then came the bat and baseball my other sport. I have increased my batting average each season along with not striking out at all and I had several schools to choose from. So, I guess listening paid off. Never give up. I was just blessed to have parents whom both played college ball & they helped me with my dreams and supported me and also gave me great advice. My mom played college softball and my dad played college basketball. So as a child I spent alot of my time following them around. After college they both continued to play. My mom played for Budweiser and my dad also played for Budweiser. So I guess I really had no other choice but to love & play sports. Never give up on your dreams and work hard to improve you craft....
