So far in our season we are 15-2.... we've lost to two 3A school and being the smallest 2A school thats not too bad... We are undefeated in conference play and the chances of us taking home the conference championship...again... are really high, the only ones standing in our way is Sgt. Bluff, a large school in a small school conference...we've beat them once but it will be tough to do it again...especially at their place. I've been playing short stop this year...i played it the last half of the season last year but i would much rather play third base. Because personally i'm more of a reactor than a thinker and at short i have alot of more time to think about what i'm going to do than when i'm at third. But i'm pretty much the most experienced infielder so what can yah do? My batting has been really streaky...and i've been having trouble keeping my weight back I get kind of sick of it when the "assistant" coaches who don't really do anything tell me that i need to keep my weight back or move up in the box...cause pretty sure thats the story of my life and i'm standing on the chalk line.
maybe i should tie a brick on to the end of my bat to slow my bat speed down...its worth a try...
