| I have been playing varsity ball since my 8th grade summer. I was a primary pitcher the 8th grader summer and freshman summer. Last year as a sophomore I tried playing infield at 3B and I ended up with all-conference honors. I had 2 grandslams with 1 being a walk-off against 5th ranked Johnston. I've always had a good arm with my fastball topping at 86 mph and that is easily reachable from the OF and 3B. I've pushed myself hard this offseason with my weight lifting and conditioning. I got my 60yd time to 6.83 and i haven't recently been timed for a 40yd. This offseason I worked with 2 former professional ball players Cory Harris and Greg Thiessen. Cory played for the USA Olympic team. Greg played AAA last year with the Washington Nationals. They have redefined my swing completely. In a showcase I pulled a 89MPH fastball off of a draft pick for this 2008 MLB draft (B.J. Hermsen, #186 pick Minn) I can definitely pitch in college but I am looking more for the UTL position with OF and IF. I am probably best suited for the OF with my arm and hitting skills. I haven't received any offers yet for baseball which is why I'm doing this post. I would love to play juco ball and then transfer to a solid university. Otherwise, I would enjoy playing at a solid D2 school. I play summer ball here in Iowa so my games are still going on into july.
