This past Monday my school played in its first ever provincials (state) championships! I played in Nelson, BC on a very undulated course that had rare flat lies. I played decently in the tournament. I shot a 72 (par 72) in my practice round and in the tournament rounds I shot 75 and 76. On both days I made a couple of bad mistakes. I had a couple double bogeys on the first day and 3 careless bogeys due to bad tee shots. On the good side of playing I managed to birdie 3 times both days. Don't get me wrong some of the bogeys I made besides my mistakes were miraculous and sometimes I deserved on the tournament days. In the end I finished the tournament with the lowest score out of my school.
