Hi everyone, this past weekend the Olathe Rockets 16U played its first tournament with all the high school players back. It was great seeing everyone again. A couple of our players even won State! Way to go Kellie and Lauren. We went 3-0 on Saturday. Then on Sunday we went 2-2 and then lost in our final game on Monday. It was a good final game that went back and forth. In the end we came up short 5-8. So overall we are 5-3. Not bad for a team who hasn't played together since last fall, especially considering the competition was pretty good the entire weekend. We will be going to Lincoln, NE next week to play in the ASA Hall Of Fame Qualifier. (after a couple weeks of hard practice)!
