Well, today our season came to a tragic close. We had the lead 2-0 in the last inning when we gave up 8 runs. I don't think the reality has set in yet for many of the players except the seniors and some juniors- including myself. Because, with the ending of this season comes the loss of 4 seniors (one being my sister) and a great assistant coach that I haven't played without. I already know that I'm going to miss my sister more than anything. She's taught me a lot of my skills from softball and life. She's not just the loss of a teamate, it's a loss of a sister. Overall, we ended the season at 15-7 (I think), with the conference title under our belts. It was a great season and I wish we could play on June 7th in Madison for the state title but there's always next year. Now it's on to Bandits and a great summer with more great players and friends.
