My son Joshua Miller, as a junior I did not expect him to break the school record, even though he works hard and is in NHS at Felicity Franklin. He wants to break his new record two or three times in his senior year, his record now is 156'.3". The record was set by Ian Jarmon in his senior yr. and he just broke a 17 yr. U.C. record, so he is ahead of his pace and if he keeps going will hopefully be highly recruited.his next meet will be districts at New Richmond next week on 5/20 and 5/22. He also does shot and I think he could be very close to that record as well by late in his senior year. His coach Don Gaffney had to step aside this year do to his wife having cancer but he still helps when he can and does this for nothing he is a great coach.
It saddens me to say his wife has passed away please keep him in your prayers.
Well he made it to regionals in discus and shot. We are in hope he does good and makes it to state a year earlier than expected his plan for the summer should make him a contender for state next year.
