Cody Poplawski is one of the hardest working kids I've ever been around, he never quits, looks forward to the next challenge, and his studies always come first. You'll be able to observe his athletic talent on the field playing football for Raymond Kellis High School in Glendale, Arizona as a defensive end. This year Cody's taking his workouts to a new level, First he established building himself a base with working on the smaller supportive muscles and controling his diet by eliminating some of the sugars that wieghed him down last year and replacing it with more protein and carbs that can be utilized in his cardiovascular workouts giving him the time released energy that his body needs. Cody found his new body, now it's time to add a power routine that will increase his energy as well as give him sustained power through out the game especially in the fourth quarter, I feel this is the part of the game where you'll see his athletic ability shine the most. I was observing practice and noticed that Cody's Cardiovasculer workouts  were already paying dividends as most of the other players on the field were gasping for air, he kept going strong, placed against a varsity offensive lineman that out weighed him substancially, he continued to push the larger player into the backfield where Cody made contact with the Quarterback on several occassions. His Power routine that he'll start soon will definately bring him to the next level of being a dominant football player. This is his Sophomore year, Cody is little over 6feet tall and is weighing in at around 210lbs. by watching him progress from last year and having seen what he has become, talking to him about his goals was a special treat, something that I would have never expected coming from a high school student, it's extremely rare to find a kid with that much focus and direction into his future. How he's preparing to handle and overcome adversity when encountered by it blew me away. I feel that he will be an asset to any team he plays for, I see great things happening to him whether in athletics or in our community. Raymond Kellis High School is lucky to have such a student and football player attending their school.
