This year started off sorta rough. Last year we had over 40 girls on our track team, and this year we only have like 20. It's hard because each person has to be bogged down with the maximum number of events. Each person has to work extra hard and pull their end of the rope.Being one of the few sprinters on our team I pretty much know what events I will be doing because I have to. We have been encoutering ou r own little issues...few throwers, no pole vaulters.We lack in certain areas so we do our best. Me personally since the beginning of the season I've been feeling a numbness in my quad that is soooooo annoying. I dont want to get it checked out because I know the doctor will tell me that i need to sit out and not run...Well I run fine,my leg just feels like it fell asleep minus the pins and burning. So I just baby this injury icing it and heating.I have to do what it takes in order to make it seem as if this injury doesnt exist. It feels as if thre is little to no circulation running through it at all, and has been like this since the beginning of the season. I plan to just ride it out for my team, because I refuse to not run...Hopefully all will go well
