Well since my club team is in Kansas... this Spring, the Missouri players from my team (Olathe Rockets 16A), the 18A Rockets, the KC Peppers Gold and a few others have joined together as the Olathe Express. We are being coached by Dan Akin (KC Peppers Gold) and Stan Spurling (my coach).
So far we've played in 2 tournaments and we have at least 2 more to go before Memorial Day. Memorial Day weekend is when we will have all the Kansas players back and get to play together for the first time in 2008. It is also my BIRTHDAY ;-)
Our first tournament went pretty well... we went 3-2 with our only 2 losses coming to the 2 teams in the championship game. (there are a couple of pics of me posted from that tournament)
We played our 2nd tournament last weekend an ASA 18 Northern Nationals Qualifier. We won!! There was a very good team that we faced in the championship game though.. They were from somewhere in Iowa. Olathe Express 9/W 2/L 0/T
Looks like we will play again the week after next (May 10th/11th).
