My year started by going over to Sydney in January with the New Zealand secondary school girls team coached by Paul temple. As soon as we got there we got into training and had 2 warmup games, one against a womens division 1 team where I scored a goal and the other against NSW sports institute team. Our first test against Australia ended in a 1-1 draw. The 2nd and final test ended in a 2-1 defeat in the last 15minutes. I played the full 90 minutes in all games, it was a great experience for me to compete at international level and was a great indication for where I needed to be fitness and skill wise.

After that came pre-season training and games for my club team Glenfield rovers premier women, aswell as my own fitness and skill training that I've now started doing after getting help and information from various sporting people. We've played our first prem game of the season narrowly loosing to Lynn avon 2-0, our next game is up against Waitakere City.

From the 14th-18th of April I participated in univeristy games, I represented Auckland University of Technology in soccer. Our team came 2nd overall, narrowly loosing in the final 2-1. From 4 games I scored 5 goals and played a variety of positions. I also got named in the overall University tournament team.
