We played in the Lady Cats Classic in Franklin KY last weekend- April 11& April 12.
Our first game on Friday April 11 we played Lawrence County in pool play. We won 7-2. I had no errors. I went 1 for 3 with one single, one RBI, and one walk.
My next game was against Baron County in are 2nd pool play game. I went 1 for 3 with a base hit. No errors and we won 5-2
On saturday April 12 we played Knox County in semi-finales I went 0-3 with 1 HBP and 2 Runs. We won 8-2.
The Next game we played was the championship game. We were down by 2 runs in the 4th and we had a girl on 2nd and I hit a HR. My 2nd at bat I got a base hit and an RBI. I had no errors and we won 3-2 against Baron County.(2-3,1-hr,1-single,3-rbi's,1-run,no errors)
All together i had a good tournament(but always can do better.)I hit the ball well, and I felt like I played good defense. I played really hard and so did my team, we never gave up and played with lots of passion and intensity, that was the key to our success.
