Dear Coach,
All I want is a chance. An opporunity....
I'm a great person, a great student, and a great athlete. If I had an opporunity to play for your program, everyone would get to see how great I am on the court and off the court.
Location....that doesn't matter. Within the last two years I've lived in Ohio (Home state), Arizona (2nd Home), and Pennsylvania (tried to go to school there). I've very good at adapting to my surroundings.
Its hard not to listen to people when they're constantly in your ear saying things.
Theres always the high profile kids out there in college, who are getting told everyday, go pro, go get the money, go do this, do that. But I have different things being said to me. I get the...you should be here, you be at this college, you should be having his spot, he's not better than you, etc. Its kind of tough watching kids on ESPN or else where that I competed with and was at the same elite level with, just ith less exposure. Which I look back at it many of times and realize, its my own fault of where I am right now, I can't point the finger at anyone. I wasn't focused enough in high school, I just wanted to hurry up and graduated. I didn't take my SAT's when I was supposed to. Theres a lot of things to tie into it. I guess I definitely didn't realize how tough it would be to get a coach to notice you after you've been out of high school and not played any community college or prep school ball.
You can only send out so many DVD's....
My last solution right now is this website, hitting up all the JUCO Exposure camps in Cali this summer, and the Mullin's Exposure Camp.
I know I can do damage at all of those and I think I'll finally get the opportunity I've been working hard for. All my friends and family are behind me. Even people I don't know that just see me play are behind me. I'm only 20, just turned 20 at that. Should be a sophomore in College. I'm a little behind, but I can catch up easily.
You want someone that can dunk....I can do that, so can everyone else.
Want someone that can shoot....I can do that, not everyone can.
Someone that can break down a defense...I can do that too.
Someone whos a team player and leads by example...thats me.
Intense, Smart, Uncontrol and Respectful.....thats me.
Coach....I want to be a part of your program, I want to be successful, I want to make it to the next level in basketball AND in life.

| Go to college websites and fill out athletic questionaires. I just started tryin' to get my name out, and I've been contacted by like 8 coaches in the last month. Good luck. |
