Our team, the QC Blues, came into the the tournament ranked 2nd, only to the des moines oak leafs. We finished 2nd, by way of being defeated by the oak leafs 7-3. The game was 3-3 after two gridlock periods, although we got into penalty trouble in the third and it was all downhill from there. It was the best finish ever for our team in its history.
I didn't get a lot of playing time, but i made it count when i was on the ice.
Our final tournament is this weekend in Ames.
First game: Friday at 1:45, Ames, IA, ISU arena. |
