| Just got a notification that I can represent Kansas in a football tournament in Australia, this summer. Wanted to know if any of you have ever played in the Down Under Bowl. My folks and I are really looking at doing this. seems like fun and I just love this game of football. Wanted to see if anyone out there ever played in it or know someone who has. |

My name is Doug Berryman and I am the Head Coach for the Kansas Team. This will be the 3rd time I have gone to Australia with Down Under Sports and I will tell you that you will have a once in a lifetime experience. Every athlete who went with me in 1996 and 1998 said they had an awesome experience. I know it is expensive, but Down Under Sports will give you fantastic ideas on how to fund raise and if you are willing to work hard you should have no problem raising the money. | I played in the 2003 Down Under Bowl and It was one of the best things I have ever done, you get to play people you would never get a chance to and get to see a place like no other. We were treated like NFL Superstars by the locals, you will love it and good luck,

We are having information meetings Saturday Januaray 26th in Kansas City, MO and Springfield, MO. The Kansas City meeting will be at the Holiday Inn Sports Complex, 4011 Blue Ridge Cutoff at 10:00 AM and the Springfield meeting will be at the University Plaza Hotel, 333 John Q Hammons Parkway at 5:00 PM. | There have been two new meeting dates added if you missed any of the earlier ones. We will be having a meeting in Hutchinson on March 8th at the Holiday Inn Express, 1601 Super Plaza at 4:00 PM.
