Well, to start off I'm Rachel. I'm short and I drive an SUV; a very proud owner of man truck. :) and really, that's all you need to know now.
Anyways, I'm a senior at South County Secondary. My school is never listed on the internet. For example, Facebook, MySpace, beRecruited, etc. It's because SoCo is a fairly new school. We opened up three years ago, due to the over crowding conflict at Hayfield. Oh well, now we're over crowded and got 7 brand new spankin' trailers!
Well, high school swimming has OFFICIALLY started! I am one of the captains for the team. This year is going to ROCK, especially with our new freshmen that came in. Maybe I won't be alone at States like I was for the past two years and we'll actually have a girls relay going! I'm soo looking forward to this season. It'll be the best!
Swim & Rock was also this past weekend. I was very pleased with my times in the 200 and 100 breast stroke. I went a 2:33 in the 200 and a 1:09 in the 100. This is a big deal to me because usually, I only go those times much later in the season. But to see a 1:09 during November? That just impresses me! I can't wait to see what I can get at Tom Dolan. Hopefully, I can get that Jr. Nats cut time for the 100 breast. 1:06? MAAAYBE! |
