Softball And Webster County Don't Mix.

Having just moved to Kentucky a year ago, I find it hard to adapt to the different ways and views of softball compared to Florida, if any at all. My teammates are deprived of seeing good softball and good softball players because they live in a place that doesn't take it as serious as I do, and as other softball players do in different places. I love the game of softball, and want to be surrounded by other girls that play year round like I do, but they don't see a point to this. I think because of the culture here, basketball reigns over every other sport, and softball is looked down upon. Of course this is only because the only place to watch quality softball is on ESPN during the College World Series. I'm 100% dedicated to the sport of softball, and hope to show everyone in this small town what it's all about, while giving the game a good name in Webster County.
