i have been feeling pretty good latly taking a little bit of time off because of a hamstring injury. i have decided to quit basketball because i need time for my leg to heal and i dont want to rush it. anyway i picked up swimming and it starts monday. i figure it will be a good endurance workout 3 days a week and ill start running again lightly the days i dont swim.

anyway ive been hitting the weights hard and my goal for the start of track season is to weigh 165 and bench 250. right now im 160 and bench 240. im really excited for this season and even the indoor meets. I have put in a lot of work over the off season and hopefully it pays off this year. I'm also excited about our relay teams this year as i think we will break our school's record in the 4 by 100 (44.1) and 4 by 200         (132.1).  I still dont know what college to go to and hopefully i will know as time goes on, however i do know that i am going to run track in college and wont go somewhere that doesnt have a team or doesnt take me.

goals for this year:

100m- 10.8  (11.04 auto)
200m-22.7   (23 auto)
LJ- 21 feet
4 by 100- 43.5
4 by 200- 131.5

whatever it takes
