Saturday the 3rd of november marked the end of my high school soccer career. In a 2-1 regional semifinals loss against Northern Garret we were knocked out of the 1A Maryland state boys soccer playoffs.
This ended our 11 game winning streak as well. Smithsburg had a great team, and im happy to have been one of them.
Just some  highlights of these last four seasons:

-My freshman year on JV, we go 12-2 breaking the scoring record for our school

-Sophmore also on JV, we are undefeated with 13-0-1

-Junior year we have a down year 8-8, but in our last home game i score the game winning volley of a 4-3 game

-Senior year, the newspaper doesnt even deign to give us a preseason write up with the other schools, we absolutely crush their expectations, with a county championship tourney victory, followed by a 5-0 conference record to win the MVAL antietam title. Seeded 3rd in the MD 1A west region, we get a bye first round, followed by a 5-0 rout in which we dominate the Southern Garret Rams, the next game we travel to Northern garret and our streak is ended.

It was a lot of Fun and ill sure miss practicing with everybody, they'll tear it up next year too.
