Ice Hockey College Scholarships

Does anyone have information about pursuing scholarships to play ice hockey for Division I schools? What are Division I schools looking for (hockey talent, academic records, admission test scores, leadership, etc.) and how much weight do these different factors play in selection? What if a player is a top high school player (never played AA or AAA) with an outstanding academic record?

Thanks.

Best bet is to check that schools athletic program and admissions office. -Chris

Hi. We have the same dilemma. Could never afford Tier hockey (AA and AAA), but want Division 1 in collage and have decent grades (4.0 and higher).
