Lacidazical Effort

I'm talking about LAZINESS! Its terrible and seems to be filter through baseball on every level, even the pros. I was watching the Red Sox played the Indians awhile back and saw Manny Ramirez not run after hitting one to center, while Ortiz scores from first. He ends up on first because he is arguing with the call instead of playing baseball. How does the slowest guy on the team score from first and you cant even make it to 2nd base on a ball the hit the wall? Laziness and showboating. I am a hussle guy. If you hussle you'll win more than you lose but there always seems to be one guy on the field that doesn't want to put the effort up and it always seems to get hit to him. He lets a fly ball drop in front of him or lets a ball roll up the middle instead of chasing it and diving and making a play on the ball. That is the more seen method of madness. But the most common is when its not hit to you. Have you watched a baseball game to see who is not moving on a play that they may not be involved in. I lose track most of the time. This is especially true with backing up the play. Pitchers are the worst and outfielders are right behind them. Nobody backs up third as a pitcher when the ball is hit to right field and nobody backs up first as a right fielder when its hit to third or short stop. Laziness is spreading like a wildfire and I would love to see it put out soon.
